"Pick one subject and place it where it exists, in each corner of the frame."

I chose this image because the leaf is facing the right and it seems to appear as if it's staring along the ground longingly. This works because the space beside the leaf makes the photo look more dramatic. The low lighting and dark pavement also add to the drama.
